Slips....

Hello friends....Garden is ever so producing....
Summer is oh!!! sooooo busy for me, today canning pickles, beans and cabbage....
My slips/bloomers/ aprons are on hold for right now, will pick up in the fall.... but, would be glad to snail mail you a brochure, am trying to get it on my computer so I can send it that way, but , not yet,
It has its own order form and all....

Summer!

Summer is soo full for me, If you have read my other blog...you will know I have a garden that is almost too big for me to take care of...lawn as big as , well, too big, and Grandsweeties that take full time....Sooo, until fall/winter, this blog wont have much on it.....but, a saying for today.,...

Man is broken.
He lives by mending and God is the glue!

Learning to knit....

How many of you ladies knit?
I am lerning and find it much easier than crocheting, (my opinion), I have crocheted for 30 years, and like it also, but, knitting is, well, somewhat softer and easier for me...It did take a while for me to get use to 2 needles though...But, I am thinking, I will really like it...
I am starting on washcloths, easy and hard.
Anyone out there have easy patterns for me to try, if so, leave a comment or email me...

Knitting..

My newest projhect is learning how to knit....What a disaster!
then I took a class and HAD to knit once a week, the instructor encouraged me to practice every day, e ven if it is just knit and purl...wellllll,,,,,,,,,,,,,it worked, I think I have the hang of it....
I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
I have crocheted all of my life, made up patterns,followed patterns for almost anything, now I can make knitted things....I am starting a afghan for my newest #10 Grandbaby...................
Will blog pics when I get it done...
Try something new today, teach yourself a new craft/project. Keep your mind young by teaching yourself or have someone else teach you something new.
